Pacific Composites is pleased to announce our updated website reflecting the developments of the past two years.  Like many companies, the last two years have been challenging for Pacific Composites, but the worst of the recession seems to be over.  We have persevered and are back to full production again.

We have expanded our work with General Atomics Aeronautical by undertaking several new tooling and prototype projects for the experimental structures group.  In addition, both pre-preg autoclave cured composite and machined metal tools have been made to support the tooling department.  We have continued with ongoing part production in support of the Grey Eagle and Predator programs as well.

As for new clients, Pacific Composites has produced several prototype and experimental parts for Honda Performance Development, Inc. in support of their 2012 IndyCar program.   We are very happy to have HPD as a client and look forward to building a strong and lasting partnership with their engineering team.

Pacific Composites Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Pacific Composites were today recommended for ISO9001:2008 certification by Auditors from IMSM Ltd and awarded Certificate No US3081 .  This process was completed ahead of schedule and all aspects of the quality management system are now fully in place for the manufacturing of all parts at Pacific Composites.

 CEO Ian Ashdown commented “This is a truly significant milestone in the growth of Pacific Composites.  It recognizes the hard work that all the staff have put in to bring our products and quality management systems up to the standard that our clients expect and deserve.  I’m extremely proud to have achieved this goal.  Everyone here at Pacific Composites recognizes that ‘quality’ is the key to satisfied customers and continued growth.  We’ll get comfortable with this for a while, but the next target is already in our sights: AS9100 by this time next year!”

 Pacific Composites will continue to seek new manufacturing partnerships particularly in the Aerospace and Automotive sectors and this Internationally recognized standard will give new and existing clients more confidence in the work that Pacific Composites conducts.
